Candidate Falcon Now Works in Claude and ChatGPT: How to Connect the MCP Server

Published 12 October 2026. Candidate Falcon is the first and only preparation platform that offers an MCP server for game-based assessments and one-way video interviews. You can now prepare for a HireVue game or a recorded video interview without leaving Claude or ChatGPT.

This guide explains what the integration does, what you need, and how to connect it step by step.

What is an MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant use tools from another service. When you connect the Candidate Falcon MCP server, Claude or ChatGPT can search our preparation material, read it to you in the conversation, and open interactive practice games directly in the chat.

You stay in control. The assistant only uses Candidate Falcon when your question needs it, and you can disconnect at any time.

What you can do in the chat

Without an account, the assistant can search and read Candidate Falcon's free courses, articles, and interview question guides. Ask things like:

• "How does the HireVue Numerosity game work?"
• "What questions does Amazon ask in a one-way video interview?"
• "How long do I get to answer in a Spark Hire interview?"

The answers come from our material and link to the source pages on candidatefalcon.com.

With a HireVue Games Prep or Full Access plan, you can also play all 11 HireVue-style practice games inside the chat: Numerosity, Flashback, Pathfinder, Digitspan, Puzzle Picture, Portrait, PortraitXT, Shapedance, E-Motions, Singularity, and Teamchat. Finished games are saved to your performance page, together with the practice you do on the website. You can then ask the assistant for your recent results.

Every Candidate Falcon plan includes the integration. The pricing page lists what each plan unlocks in the chat.

What you need

• A Claude or ChatGPT account that allows custom connectors. Availability depends on your assistant's plan and settings.
• The Candidate Falcon server address: ``
• A Candidate Falcon account only if you want to play the practice games. The free material works without one.

How to connect Candidate Falcon to Claude

1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors.
2. Choose Add custom connector.
3. Enter the name Candidate Falcon and the URL ``, then confirm.
4. Start a new conversation and ask an interview preparation question. Claude uses the free material right away.
5. Ask Claude to open a HireVue practice game. The first time, Claude asks you to sign in: log in or create a Candidate Falcon account and approve the connection.

How to connect Candidate Falcon to ChatGPT

1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps and turn on developer mode under the advanced settings.
2. Create a new app or connector, name it Candidate Falcon, and enter the URL ``.
3. Choose OAuth as the authentication method and save.
4. In a new chat, add Candidate Falcon to the conversation and ask an interview preparation question, or ask ChatGPT to open a HireVue practice game. ChatGPT asks you to sign in when a game needs your account.

How to disconnect

• Claude: Customize → Connectors → Candidate Falcon → Disconnect.
• ChatGPT: Settings → Apps → Candidate Falcon → Disconnect.

Disconnecting stops the assistant from accessing your account. Your saved results stay on your Candidate Falcon account until you delete them with your account.

Privacy

The connection lets the assistant check your plan, start practice sessions, and save and read your game results. Candidate Falcon receives only what the assistant sends to these tools, not your conversation. The details are in our Privacy Policy under "AI Assistant Integrations".

Troubleshooting

• The game does not appear in the chat: some apps and devices cannot show interactive content. Start a new conversation, or practise on the HireVue games page.
• "Not included in your current plan": HireVue game practice needs a HireVue Games Prep or Full Access plan. See plans and pricing.
• You are asked to sign in again: disconnect and connect again from your assistant's connector settings.
