What to Know About Casper

  • The 2026–27 test has 4 video and 7 typed scenarios in about 65–85 minutes, with two optional breaks.
  • Casper is rated only by trained people, a different rater per scenario; you see a quartile, not a score.
  • Acuity offers a free, unscored official practice test after you reserve a test; use it too.

Every scenario is Candidate Falcon's own, not Acuity's, and feedback is an estimate, not a Casper score or quartile. Casper is a trademark of Acuity Insights; Candidate Falcon is independent and not affiliated with Acuity Insights.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I practise in the Casper simulator?

Single scenarios, the 4-scenario video section (1 minute per answer), the 7-scenario typed section (3.5 minutes for each pair of answers) or a full 11-scenario mock with the optional breaks, in the 2026–27 order and timing.

Are these real Casper scenarios?

No. Casper scenarios are confidential. Every scenario is Candidate Falcon's own, written to cover the kinds of situations and skills Acuity describes. In the real test some scenarios are short videos; ours are written.

How is my answer scored?

You get Candidate Falcon's estimate of how your answer shows judgement, grouped under the nine skills Acuity lists, plus a rewritten answer. The real Casper is rated only by trained people and reported as a quartile, so this is not a Casper score or a quartile prediction.

Should I still take Acuity's official practice test?

Yes. Acuity gives a free, unlimited official practice test once you reserve your Casper date. Use it to learn the real screens; use this simulator for extra timed scenarios and feedback.

Is Candidate Falcon affiliated with Acuity Insights?

No. Casper is a trademark of Acuity Insights. Candidate Falcon is independent and is not affiliated with Acuity Insights.
