How Kira Talent Works
- 01A recorded question plays once and its text stays on screen.
- 02A prep timer runs, then recording or writing starts and submits automatically when time is up.
- 03Written questions have no prep time and usually a longer answer window.
What to Know About Kira Talent
- Each school sets the number of questions and the timings; there is no standard Kira format.
- In the real assessment you cannot redo a submitted answer; only the school can allow a retake.
- Schools rate answers with their own rubric; Kira checks written answers for plagiarism and AI-written text.
Every question is Candidate Falcon's own, not a school's or Kira's, and feedback is an estimate, not a school's rating. Candidate Falcon is independent and not affiliated with Kira Talent, ETS or any school.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I practise in the Kira Talent simulator?
Timed video and written admissions questions in the formats schools publish, such as McMaster Engineering, McMaster DeGroote, Queen's and Waterloo Engineering, a reported MBA format, or your own number of questions and timings. Each question has a prep timer and submits automatically, as in Kira.
Are these the real Kira questions?
No. Schools write their own questions and keep them confidential. Every question in the simulator is Candidate Falcon's own, written to match the types candidates describe: motivation, behavioural, situational, unexpected and written tasks.
Can I redo an answer?
In practice mode you can retake a video answer up to three times, like Kira's own practice questions. Exam mode gives you one attempt per question, like the real assessment, where only the school can allow a retake.
How is my answer scored?
You get an estimate from Candidate Falcon's admissions-interview rubric: a clear point, a specific example, motivation and fit with the program, and structure and timing, plus a transcript and a rewritten answer. Schools use their own rubrics, which are not public, so this is not a school score.
Is Candidate Falcon affiliated with Kira Talent?
No. Candidate Falcon is independent and is not affiliated with Kira Talent, ETS or any school.
