  1. 01Work through all five sections in the order Plum describes. The real survey can be paused; this practice run is best done in one go.
  2. 02Sections 1 and 3 have no right answers: answer honestly. Sections 2 and 4 are puzzles with one correct option. Section 5 asks for the most and least effective response.
  3. 03A Time taken clock runs so you can compare your pace with the 25 minutes Plum gives. There is no countdown.
  4. 04Afterwards you get the puzzle explanations, the scenario reasons and an estimated profile on Plum’s 10 Talents in one review.

What the Plum Full Discovery Survey Run section looks at

Prep sites describe the Plum Discovery Survey as five sections in a fixed order: preference statements, problem-solving puzzles, adjectives, a second set of puzzles and workplace scenarios. Plum’s help center says the survey takes about 25 minutes and describes how to answer each section.

Because Plum says you usually take the survey only once, with a retake possible a year later, the first attempt counts. A full run helps you pace yourself and get used to switching between preference questions and puzzles.

How the Full Discovery Survey Run practice works

  1. Start when you have about 30 quiet minutes.
  2. Work through the five sections; each shows its own instructions.
  3. At the end, review the puzzles, the scenarios and your estimated Talents profile in one place.

Full Discovery Survey Run tips

  • There is no time limit in the real survey, so use the clock only to see how long a careful run takes you.
  • Answer the preference sections quickly and honestly; spend your thinking time on the puzzles.
  • Treat the scenarios as a first-year employee who wants to fix problems and keep relationships.

Common Full Discovery Survey Run mistakes

  • Rushing: Plum says the survey is not timed, so take the hard puzzles slowly.
  • Second-guessing the preference sections, which produces contradictions.

A short Full Discovery Survey Run practice routine

  1. Do the Problem Solving and Social Intelligence drills first.
  2. Do one full run a day or two before your real survey.
  3. Read the review, then take the real survey when you are fresh.

Full Discovery Survey Run FAQ

Is this the real Plum Discovery Survey?

No. It is an independent practice run by Candidate Falcon. The section order and formats follow public descriptions; every item and the scoring models are our own.

Does the practice give me a Plum match score?

No. Plum’s match score depends on the profile your employer set for the role and is not public. The practice shows puzzle accuracy, how your scenario picks compare with our model and an estimated profile on Plum’s 10 Talent names, with a sample role-fit exercise that shows how matching works.
